Getting to Chamois

Chamois is connected to the Valtournenche valley by the cableway Buisson-Chamois, departing from Buisson (a fraction of Antey St. Andrè).
The arrival of the cableway in the village of Chamois is located a short distance from all major services and the departure of the ski lifts.

Chamois is also accessible on foot along the mule track from Buisson in about 2 hours.

Route by Car

Chamois is, by car, 38 km from Aosta, 182 km from Milan, 126 km from Turin, 256 km from Genoa.
It can be reached by highway Torino - Aosta (A5), exit Chatillon, or with the SS 26 of Valle d'Aosta, to Chatillon.
Continue on S.R. 46 of Valtournenche, direction Breuil-Cervinia, until Buisson (km. 10).
Leave the car at the square of the Aerial cableway and continue for Chamois

Route by Train or Couch

By train, take the Torino-Aosta-Chivasso-lvrea line and stop at Chatillon.
Continue until Buisson using the bus service Savda (tel. 0165.361244), departing from the station of Chatillon to coincide with the arrival of the main station. The ride takes about 30 minutes.
By trainCouch take the daily bus carried by Savda, Sadem and Stat to Aosta, departing from Milan, Turin and Genoa, and change in Chatillon.
